Toikka Blue Bird Iittala

Iittala’s Birds collection was created by Finnish designer Oiva Toikka. This piece shows the extraordinary creativity of its artist and the exceptional skill of the glassblowers who create these works. The first Iittala Birds collection was designed in 1972 by Toikka at Nuutajärvi, the oldest Finnish glass factory. Since then, more magnificent birds are added every year and the collection is increasingly appreciated by collectors around the world.
