High-quality reproduction inspired by Xaxier Pauchard's design.
The Tolix Stool was first designed as a series of chairs and stools in the 1934 by Xaxier Pauchard for his company, Tolix, a manufacturer of steel household items. Designed to be weather-proof and to be easily stacked, this stool was favored for use in French bars and bistros, and versatile enough to be used for indoor and outdoor applications. An icon of the industrial aesthetic for almost a century, the H Stool has survived many eras and has become a classic in our collective memory.
