The Century Hotel, designed in 1939 by Henry Hohauser, is one of the most recognizable buildings in South Beach, Miami. Situated in the heart of certainly the world’s greatest collection of Art Deco buildings, the Century Hotel sets itself apart.
Perfectly proportioned with straight lines and bold geometric shapes, it reflects the crowning glory of the Art Deco movement Each sculpture is individually handmade in Sussex, England, at the Chisel & Mouse workshop. They are made of a strong plaster that provides reassuring weight and a smooth, cool feel. Window sills and frames are made of engraved brass.
