Product Care
As we understand the importance of preserving your pieces so you can enjoy them for years to come, we know that product care is a vital element for your satisfaction. That's why we've outlined how to care for your products after your purchase.
Leather
For standard cleaning, dust with a dry or damp cloth, and vacuum dust and debris in the leather cracks. Never soak or wet leather. Do not use cleanser or abrasive soap. If the leather accidentally touches liquid, sponge it up right away and let it air dry.
Upholstery Fabrics
Use a damp cloth for spills and light stains for wool and wool blends. Clean velvets with a mild non-abrasive detergent and water. PVC and polyurethane coatings must be cleaned with an all-purpose cleaner and a damp cloth. Unfortunately, ballpoint ink and pure indigo penetrate the majority of fabrics and cannot be cleaned on most furniture cover fabrics.
Wood
Although there is a large selection of cleaning products sold on the market, a dry cloth remains the best way to remove dust. If dust accumulates in the cracks, use a compressed air cleaner or air duster for electronic equipment. For a deeper cleaning, use a mild laundry detergent and water on a well-wrung cloth before quickly wiping with a clean cloth. Do not soak wood.
Metal
Stainless steel will not tarnish and can be polished many times in order to give the metal its original look, which cannot be done with chrome-plated steel frames. Cleaning wipes for stainless steel are sold in supermarkets and home renovation centers and remain the best product for wiping away fingerprints and dust. Although stainless steel and painted steel can be waterproof, you must be aware of the risks of leaving these materials outside for long periods of time. Under certain circumstances, rust can appear.
Cushions
Some designs have incredible stuffing requirements with an upper layer made of feather and covered with Dacron. Never wash the cushions in the laundry machine. The best method for cleaning is with a gentle detergent and a damp cloth. Do not saturate the cloth.
