High quality reproduction inspired by Hans J Wegner’s design
The Kennedy chair was designed in 1949 along with the Wishbone and Troy chairs. The Kennedy chair perfectly represents the designer’s philosophy: sleek lines and a concern for reducing a chair to the basic components: legs, seat and armrests. In this example the back of the chair becomes the armrests with a elegant twist of the wood. Anecdotally, this chair became famous when it was seen during a televised debate where John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon, both as presidential candidates, were seated on these chairs.
Made of solid ash with a PU seat, it will handle both domestic and commercial use.
The seat can be easily removed for upholstery, should you want!
