Natural marble is a porous material and is easily subject to stains and scratches. We do not recommend using this item in commercial applications. Our faux marble is ideal for restaurants, conference rooms and other high-traffic applications. Although your marble is delivered sealed, we recommend resealing every 6 months. Marble should be cleaned after use with a soft cloth and mild dishwashing soap, then dried thoroughly. Do not leave water or other liquids on the surface, and wipe up spills promptly with a non-abrasive cloth. Acidic liquids such as coffee and lemon juice, among others, will damage and etch the surface. Oil stains are also very difficult to remove.
