Table Platner

High quality reproduction inspired by Warren Platner's design.

While most modern designers reduced furniture design to the necessary elements, Warren Platner sought to make his creations both functional and ornamental, without sacrificing beauty for simplicity. To this end, Platner created a series of chairs, stools and tables in 1966 with curved steel rods welded to circular frames that gave Platner's work its characteristic structure. The result is a versatile table that serves as both furniture and sculpture.
