Shell Chair

High quality reproduction of Ib Kofod-Larsen design.

The Shell Chair is an original 1950s design by Ib Kofod-Larsen. Though this chair would not gain recognition until the 1960s, Kofod-Larsen tailored his furniture to the modern Scandiavian aesthetic which favoured minimalistic design without unnecessary adornment or embellishment. Kofod-Larsen worked with simple forms and organic materials to achieve understated, but no less elegant, pieces of furniture.
