An icon since its creation in 1977, the Atollo table lamp is a design heightened to an art form by Italian architect and designer Vico Magistretti. This lamp has no embellishment, as for Magistretti, the very essence of design was reducing a thing to pure geometric forms. The shade seems to float gently above its conical base, a fine balance that continues to fascinate today as much as when it was created.
