High quality reproduction inspired by Mies Van Der Rohe’s design
The Brno chair is a modern cantilevered chair designed in 1929 - 1930 for Mies’ renowned Tugendhat House in Brno, in the Czech Republic. Its design was based on similar chairs created in collaboration with Lilly Reich, like the 1927 MR20 model with a wicker seat; all these designs inspired by the work of Mart Stam. The Brno chair has become a classic piece of furniture. With sleek lines, it is made of a single tubular bar frame that starts at the middle of the back, following both sides of the seat (forming the armrests along the way), continuing to the floor, resulting in a cantilevered structure with a leather or fabric seat and back. Also available with a flat bar solid stainless steel frame in lblack or white leather.
