Natural marble is a porous material and is easily subject to staining and scratching. We do not recommend using this item in commercial applications. Our faux marble is ideal for restaurants, conference rooms and other high traffic uses. Although your marble comes sealed, we recommend resealing every 6 months. The marble should be cleaned after use with a soft cloth and mild dish soap, making sure to dry it thoroughly afterwards. Do not allow water or other liquids to get on the surface and wipe up spills promptly with a non-abrasive cloth. Acidic liquids such as coffee and lemon juice, among others, will damage and etch the surface. Oil stains are also very difficult to remove.
